I have removed my recordings but the app is still using a lot of data on my device. How can I clear the space?

If you export any files using iTunes File Sharing or Web Browser Access they will remain in the device's iOS public directory even if you delete the original recording in RØDE Rec or RØDE Rec LE. This can result in the app using more data than expected.

Removing the public files is a simple process

  1. Attach the device to a computer running iTunes
  2. Launch iTunes
  3. Select the device in iTunes and open it's Apps tab
  4. Select the RØDE Rec or RØDE Rec LE application - The public files will be displayed
  5. Select the recordings you would like to delete and tap the deletekey on your keyboard to remove them and clear the space on your device.
